➵ Bagel Brunch ➵ April 27, 2019
Not only was the bagel brunch the last event of Spring semester, but it was also our last event on Barnett Hall. We are sad to be moving out of the hall that we have shared with two other Panhellenic Chapters, but we are excited to announce that we will be moving onto the Greek Quad and have our own house in which we can grow closer with our sisters on every floor!
➵ Founder's Day ➵ April 25, 2019
We gathered to celebrate our 12 founders and all of our accomplishments at the end of a fantastic semester! We soared up in grade point average ranking to the top 5, and hope to keep climbing! Raising $7,712.60 for our philanthropy during the Spring semester alone was nothing short of an accomplishment. We are proud to say that we recorded 2348.5 hours of service whether it be reading to children at disadvantaged elementary schools or just helping out in the Clemson community in other ways.
➵ Formal ➵ April 6, 2019
April 6th was an exciting day for everyone in our chapter! Not only was it the most anticipated social event of the year, but the Spring football game was also coincidentally held on the same day! Our sisters really can do it all, from an early football game to dancing the night away. Although the two events most likely will not be held on the same day next year, we still have the amazing memories we made on this day.
➵ Barbeque for Books Philanthropy Event ➵ March 30, 2019
Our Vice President of Philanthropy, Katelyn, spent all year planning for our big Spring philanthropy event and it was a huge success! Our event included giftcard pulling, cornhole, live music, a silent auction, and amazing food thanks to the Esso Club! We ended up raising over $7,000 for our amazing philanthropy, Read>Lead>Achieve.
➵ Throwdown From Your Hometown Mixer ➵ March 26, 2019
Pi Phi is proud to have members from all across the country and what better way to celebrate that by dressing up in outfits that represent our hometowns perfectly?! From cheetah print representing the Jersey Shore, to a sports jersey for a nearby team, and even camo print for the army brat with no specific hometown!
➵ Fraternity Day of Service ➵ March 1, 2019
Our Fraternity Day of Service was one for the books, literally! This year we were able to collect 4,422 books during our annual book drive competition against The University of South Carolina's Pi Phi chapter. We then hosted Fraternity Day of Service in which we gave books to the children at a local elementary school. Not only did the children get to bring two books home, but they also get to enjoy their day while making crafts and eating Cat in the Hat themed snacks, all while dressed as Dr. Seuss characters!
➵ Mardi Gras themed Crush Party ➵ February 26, 2019
We all geared up in purple, yellow, and green and celebrated Mardi Gras! It was amazing just to feel like we were in the big easy for the night and we can't wait until the Tigers are playing in the National Championship in New Orleans this coming season!
➵ Beaux and Arrows Date Function ➵ February 13, 2019
Two of Pi Phi's most iconic symbols are the arrow and the angel, and at Beaux and Arrows the cupid theme was definitely there! At this semi-formal event our sisters looked beautiful in every shade of red and pink!
➵ Spring Bid Day ➵ January 24, 2019
For our 17 spring initiates, we hosted an icee bid day! With blue glitter lips and yummy icy treats, we were sure to keep it cool and welcome our newest pledge class home to our amazing sisterhood!
➵ Tacky Sweater Function ➵ November 27, 2018
Our last event of the semester was bittersweet! Having to say goodbye to all of our sisters graduating in December is never fun, but we can't wait to meet new members in the Spring!
➵ Halloween Mixer ➵ October 30, 2018
Our Halloween mixer is always so much fun because we get to mix with other Greek organizations and hang out with our sisters! We get to dress up in costumes and dance all night while mingling with new people! We love doing group costumes with our sisters and it gives us a great excuse to take a break from studying!
➵ Rumble in the Jungle themed Mixer ➵ October 23, 2018
Halloween at Clemson is always an exciting time, but Pi Phi got it started a week early with our "rumble in the jungle" mixer! We donned our best costumes featuring lots of camouflage, green, and animal print and spent the night dancing along with two fraternities!
➵ Pi Beta Phi Parents Weekend ➵ October 20-21, 2018
We are so thankful for all of the parents who have raised our intelligent, independent, and hard working sisters! What better way to thank them than a dinner on Saturday and a brunch on Sunday! The best weekends are those we spend with our families whether it be our big and little or our parents!
➵ Homecoming Float Decorating ➵ October 15-19, 2018
Every year student organizations on Clemson's campus get together on Bowman field to decorate a homecoming display float! This past year we partnered with two IFC Fraternities to design and create our amazing float that even included Dabo Swinney in the design.
➵ Color Me Literacy Philanthropy 5K ➵ October 13, 2018
Our Vice President of Philanthropy, Marilyn, organized a color run 5k in support of our philanthropy! Not only were there sisters cheering everybody on throughout every leg of the race but they were also throwing colored powder so everyone would end the race filled with more color than when they started! After the run we hosted a dance party full of music and color!
➵ Pink Party Sisterhood Event ➵ October 11, 2018
Starting a new tradition, we had a pink party with Pi Phis only. Everything, and I mean everything, was decked out in pink, from the doorway where everybody entered to the food and desserts!
➵ Semi-Formal Date Function ➵ October 5, 2018
Our first fancy event of the year! Our sisters had an amazing time getting ready together and dressing up for a night of dancing and amazing food provided by Amici!
➵ Big Little Reveal ➵ September 30, 2018
After a week full of anonymous gifts, the new member class of 2018 found out who their bigs were at big little reveal! Pi Phi bigs act as older sisters, mentors, and the best of friends. They make the adjustment to college a piece of cake. Every Pi Phi knows they have a family that they can rely on not just at home but also at Clemson through Pi Phi!
➵ Bowling Sisterhood Retreat ➵ September 23, 2018
One of our favorite things about Pi Phi is getting to spend time with our sisters! In September, we went on an excursion to Greenville where we spent the afternoon bowling, playing games, and enjoying an endless lunch buffet. We loved getting to know our sisters better, taking lots of pictures, and exercising our competitive sides!
➵ Cowboys and Angels Function ➵ September 7, 2018
One of our favorite functions of the year is Cowboys and Angels! It is always one of the first functions which is exciting because our sisters love to welcome the new members! As members of Pi Phi, we are considered the “angels”, that is why we put halos over each other and throw our wing hand symbol up in many of our pictures! For Cowboys and Angels, we get to dress up as angels and enjoy music from a live band!
➵ First Friday ➵ August 31, 2018
Every year since 1974, students and Clemson fans from all around line the streets to watch the annual First Friday Parade! Members of Pi Phi are lucky enough to walk in this parade alongside other Greek Organizations every year! We can't wait to see what Clemson has in store for us next fall!
➵ Pi Phi Palooza ➵ August 29, 2018
Inspired by Lollapalooza, our first event of the semester looked like a true music festival. With flower crowns, fringe, and every color of glitter imaginable all of our sisters definitely looked the part!
➵ Bid Day ➵ August 19, 2018
What's better than celebrating 68 new members than a neon glow party!? There's no better time to GLOW Pi Phi! Seeing our newest sisters run down the hill to us and get decked out in all things neon was nothing short of phenomenal!
